| Construction
and Management |
Xixiayuan Project is constructed and managed by
the Xiaolangdi Dam Project Construction and Management Bureau
affiliated to the Ministry of Water Resources, with a Xixiayuan
Project Office provided to take the specific responsibility
to this effect. The “four systems” are incorporated into the
whole process of construction and management, i.e. system of
Employer’s responsibility, system of bidding, system of supervision,
and system of contract administration. Resettlement is contracted
to Henan Province on a lump-sum basis and implemented by the
counties as guided by the Ministry of Water Resources and managed
by the Employer.
The Yellow River Reconnaissance & Design Co., Ltd. under
the Ministry of Water Resources is appointed as the Designer,
while the Xiaolangdi Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. is employed
as the Engineer on the basis of competitive bidding.
